Excellent breakfast variety with fresh options every day.
The air conditioning was not functioning well, making the room uncomfortably warm.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, only a short walk from the Termini train station. Access to public transport made it easy to explore. The staff seemed friendly but were a bit inconsistent. My room was spacious and clean, featuring wooden floors instead of carpeting, which felt more hygienic. Unfortunately, the air conditioning struggled to keep my room cool during hot days. The Wi-Fi connection was spotty, making it frustrating to stay connected. Breakfast was good, but the same menu each morning got monotonous. I appreciated that the restaurant staff were polite and attentive, but they could enhance the breakfast variety. Overall, my experience was pleasant but had room for improvement in some areas.

Oh, the Italian culinary scene near Starhotels is a fiesta for your taste buds! From the heavenly pasta at Ristorante Cotto to the gelato that makes you weak in the knees at Er Buchetto, every meal was an adventure. Plus, the spacious Triple Room was a boon for my little family, and we were greeted like old friends by the staff!
Now, let’s spill the beans on the nitty-gritty. No AC until we asked, and for 400 euros a night, breakfast wasn’t included? The street noise was like a concert with a broken window! A morning surprise visit with a hairdryer we never asked for did raise eyebrows, and let's not even start about the flushing fiasco. So much was amiss, yet the charm of Rome glimmered through!

Great central location puts you minutes away from the major sights like the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. Clean and spacious Superior Double or Twin Rooms hold considerable comfort, with a nice kettle setup for tea or coffee, which is a bonus in Rome.
However, several amenities fell short during my stay. The mini fridge was warm, making it tricky to access any drinks from the mini bar, and the TV was clunky, requiring persistence to navigate. One soap bar was only provided for five nights and hardly replaced, which is a bit ridiculous. Toilet paper supplies barely sufficed, leading to an awkward day without it. These quirks certainly detracted from the experience, especially for a longer stay.

The location was a highlight, being just a short walk from major attractions and great local restaurants. The staff were helpful in providing directions and suggestions for sights to see. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, though I experienced minor issues with the room amenities, like the TV being a bit clunky and the mini-bar refrigerator not functioning properly. Despite those setbacks, the room was clean and the hotel had a classy atmosphere.
